Synopsis：After the death of his wife, Valera lives out his life in his parents' old house. Suddenly, his younger brother Tolya arrives from Germany, where he had fled leaving his wife and daughter in Russia. Together they hurry to finish painting the fence before winter comes and try to uncover the mystery of the Gitanes cigarettes found in the closet. The memories help them to rethink the present.
