Art director, scriptwriter, director, graduated from Stage Art of Shanghai Theatre Academy, he won the Best Fine Arts Nomination Awards of the 30th Golden Rooster Award. He has created two original screenplays named Like Winds, Like Weeds and Festival, which was selected by several Project Promotion. He directed short film named Nowhere Float ,which was selected by Clermont Film Festival in France in 2022. He directed his first full-length film named Like Winds, Like Weeds in 2023. This film was selected by the 17th FIRST Official Selection.

Film Introduction:A mutating virus has struck the world, causing people to gradually transform into any type of animal after falling ill. The reason for this phenomenon is unknown, and there is no solution in sight. Two years after the first wave of transformations, where humans turned into animals, people have adapted and established specialized centers to receive, care for, and treat those who have become animals. These centers also provide psychological support to the families of the patients. One day, a convoy transporting multiple patients to a new center has an accident on a remote road. The patients scatter in all directions, and François's wife is among them. François and his 16-year-old son, Émile, head to the site of the accident in the nearby forest. Along the way, they encounter beings that are partway through their transformation into bird people or animals that may have once been human. To make matters worse, Émile discovers that his own body is quietly changing, as if he is transforming into a wolf...

Thomas Cailley was born on 29 April 1980 in Clermont-Ferrand, Puy-de-Dôme, France. He is a writer and director, known for Les combattants (2014), Ad Vitam (2018) and Le règne animal (2023).

Lucy Kerr is a filmmaker and artist based in New York. She was named one of the 25 New Faces of Independent Film in Filmmaker Magazine in 2022. Kerr received a dual MFA in Film/Video and Art from California Institute of the Arts on the Lillian Disney Scholarship. Her feature film, Family Portrait, garnered her the feature film grant from Austin Film Society, the AirFrance Prize from FIDLab, and the New Horizons Award from US in Progress. Kerr’s work has been presented by International Film Festival Rotterdam, FIDMarseille, San Sebastian International Film Festival, Reykjavik International Film Festival, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, REDCAT, Anthology Film Archives, Francois Ghebaly Gallery, and others. CHINBorn in Qingdao, Shandong, graduated from the Beijing Film Academy. Ding Sheng is a national first-class director, professor and master's supervisor in the Department of Directing at the Beijing Film Academy. He is also a member of the China Film Directors' Guild and China Film Editing Society. In 2010, he directed and wrote the action comedy film Little Big Soldier (2010). Ding Sheng is the only Chinese mainland director in the Police Story film series, the film Police Story 2013(2013) he directed and wrote grossed a total box office of 5.37 billion yuan. His film Saving Mr. Wu(2015) won the Best Editing Award at the 31st China Golden Rooster Awards.

Roberto Andò (1959, Italy) is a director and writer. He assisted famous directors such as Francis Ford Coppola, Federico Fellini, Michael Cimino and Francesco Rosi before debuting in 1986 as a theatre director with a puppetry piece based on a story by Italo Calvino. Andò subsequently directed a number of documentaries and in 2000 made his feature film debut with Il manoscritto del principe. His first, award-winning novel, Il trono vuoto, was the basis for Long Live Freedom and won the Premi David di Donatello for the best script. La stranezza (2022) was selected for IFFR 2023.

Pema Tseden is a Tibetan director, screenwriter and author. Most of Pema Tseden’s films were shot in Tibetan language by Tibetan teams. Widely recognized as a pioneer of the Tibetan New Wave, Pema Tseden’s body of cinematic works includes The Silent Holy Stones, The Search, Old Dog, Tharlo, Jinpa and Balloon amongst others. His films have been selected at Venice FF, Locarno FF, TIFF and many other major international film festivals, winning over forty international prizes.

Born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in 1990, she studied anthropology and worked as an editor for an online magazine before taking up a degree in fiction film directing at the Netherlands Film Academy. Her graduation film Siren screened at over 35 international festivals and won several awards. Her short film Yulia & Juliet was presented in the Generation 14plus section of the 2019 Berlin International Film Festival. She is currently teaching at the Amsterdam Film School and the Academy of Theatre and Dance and directs commercials. In 2021, she was recognised as a “Talent en Route” at the Netherlands Film Festival.

Hassan Nazer, born on September 8, 1979, is an accomplished British writer/director with Iranian heritage, currently residing in Scotland. In 2000, at the age of 19, Hassan sought refuge in the United Kingdom. In 2006, he started studying film and media at Aberdeen University. Hassan's early feature films garnered recognition in Iran, including notable titles such as Black Day and Here Iran. His internationally acclaimed film, Utopia, was Afghanistan's entry in the foreign film category at the 2016 Academy Awards.
His latest work, Winners, received co-financing from Screen Scotland and was chosen as the official UK entry in the International Feature Film category at the 95th Academy Awards in 2023. Hassan has further enriched his cinematic experience by serving as a jury member at numerous film festivals, including the ‘All Lights India International Film Festival’ (ALIIFF), 2016. He was also the jury president at the SAARC Film Festival, Sri Lanka, in 2019 and BAFTA Scotland in 2022.
